This is where I hack together some pathetic Python script to figure this shit out for me and then I distribute that to the world under the pretense that it will work for everyone.
So, I’m sure you answered this a million times, but…
why was Tumblr Stalkr banned exactly? It seems so stupid. I misssss it. :(
It may or may not be in the Tumblr terms of use that data mining (that is, loading multiple pages and grabbing information) is not allowed. They never sent me an email. Never delivered a cease and desist order. Nothing. They just blocked my server’s IP from connecting.
I should email them. I will email them. I do respect their position and I clearly do love their service, but I should really still ask.
