That’s not a bad thing! I went from Green Day, to Interpol, to Bomb in terms of favourite bands. It’s fun to have an interesting history of taste.

That’s not what karma really is. Karma is just a really basic principle held as truth: If you are nice to people, they are more likely to be nice to you. That’s a really simple example, but it has nothing to do with where you go when you die. It’s just suggested that if you’re a good person, shit’s gonna be better for you in this human life.

I want to a ska show once at The Bayou and of the five bands playing, one of them was a psycho billy band. It was a fantastic performance. The double-bassist stood on his bass while he was playing it like a ninja and the lead singer kept stripping off clothes until he was completely naked. They had dancers on stage who did nothing but dance and undress the lead singer.

I met the lead singer after the show and I had nothing to say to him but “I liked your band! And… uh… you have a nice dick?”

WAIT WHAT? $18 for 12 PBRs? is this some weird canadian money exchange thing because you guys use monopoly money or something? i used to get PBR 12s for $7.11. i think they raised it to like, $8 now but jesus christ, that's nuts.

The Canadian and American dollar are pretty close these days ($8 USD is $8.22 CAD). It’s just that our liquor and tobacco laws are ridiculous. I didn’t know they were that ridiculous, though. I’m sad now and I need a beer, but it’s too expensive.
