I was having a hard time centering elements on a page in IE once and a friend of mine suggested having the text aligned to the center and then recorrect all the text to be aligned to the left again. So it could be that Tumblr’s doing that to get everything centered but then they didn’t left-justify it again or something. Or Internet Explorer’s just acting silly.

In a touch-screen phone world, I can’t help but feel that there’s no need to have such little screen space. Looking at that screen would feel like looking through the view hole of a tank. What happened to the idea of having a touch screen with areas that would raise to give feedback. That was awesome.

Hair Pool by Defiance, Ohio: This is my favorite Pink Couch session since BtMI!’s. IYMI referes to them as “the new Brady Bunch” and it’s so true. I finally uploaded the pictures I took in my photography class. Some of them are kind of nice, others are just alright. A lot of the pictures in there are for a project where I had to use a photography technique to get a picture. So stuff like “Pictorial Space” and “Light and Dark Values” are pretty lame. But I think “Contrasting Textures” and “Vanishing Point” came out kind of neat. The other ones were taken during my photography summative where I just had to go out and take a good picture. I heard that flower pictures always got you good marks, so I took one just in case. This particular picture single handedly saved me from failing the course (I got behind on the written work) by getting me a 100% on my final project.

Oh, and just a thought: I love how my pictures know more about themselves than I do. (Meta data)

Today I opened up iTunes and a little pop up box appeared. The pop up box told me that my volume was all the way down and to turn it back up I had to drag the slider to the right. Was this really necessary of iTunes? I don’t like the idea of people trying to figure out why no music is coming out of their machines via iTunes and not bothering to check that the volume is down. I also don’t like the idea that someone who clearly knows how to turn down the volume needs to be reminded how to turn up the volume.
